Overview
Q-Switch laser is an advanced laser technology that breaks down target pigments with high-energy light pulses lasting only nanoseconds. In medical and aesthetic use it is widely applied to treat pigmentation problems such as sun spots, age spots, freckles and melasma, and to remove black and coloured tattoos without damaging the skin. Combined with a carbon mask applied to the skin surface, the Carbon Peel treatment is also a reliable choice for tightening pores, balancing oil production, calming active acne, brightening skin tone and lightening fine facial hair.
Procedure and Important Notes
How Is It Performed?
After cleansing, laser pulses at the appropriate wavelength are applied to the targeted spot, tattoo or area with enlarged pores. For a carbon peel, a carbon solution is applied to the skin first.
Aftercare
Mild redness or crusting may occur after treatment; do not pick off any crusts. Do not let water touch the area for the first 24 hours, and do not neglect high-factor sunscreen.
