Overview
Hydrafacial is a new-generation medical skin care system that combines vortex (vacuum) technology with the power of serums to deeply treat the skin without needles or irritation. It offers cleansing, peeling, extraction (blackhead removal), hydration and antioxidant protection in a single session. In aesthetic medicine it is chosen to gently clear clogged pores and blackheads, balance sebum (oil), soften fine lines and give dull skin instant radiance and deep hydration. Because it purifies the skin without micro-level abrasion, it can be safely applied all year round on all skin types, including sensitive skin and skin with rosacea.
Procedure and Important Notes
How Is It Performed?
Using special vacuum handpieces, dead skin and oil are removed with AHA/BHA acid solutions in turn. Moisturising, antioxidant and hyaluronic acid serums suited to the skin's needs are then delivered to the deeper layers, and the treatment is completed with LED therapy.
Aftercare
The skin does not peel or become irritated after treatment, and you can return to your social life straight away. For the first 24 hours it is recommended to avoid heavy make-up, not to wash the skin, and to protect it from direct sunlight with a high-factor sunscreen.
